GreenPoint 1.0

GreenPoint is a geo-location application designed to assist medical cannabis patients in locating horticultural supply stores, soil and nutrient vendors, and dispensaries within their local area. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the promotion, sharing, cultivation, and development of the therapeutic benefits associated with medical cannabis.

To access the full features of GreenPoint, members are required to join the Central California Cannabis Collective and undergo verification as medical cannabis patients, which includes providing a valid medical recommendation. This verification process ensures compliance with relevant regulations prior to granting full access to the application's functionalities.

The application operates through a map interface that displays the user’s current location. Users can select from categories such as plant stores—Earth or Nuth—or dispensaries—Brick or Wheel—to find specific businesses nearby. They can then navigate to a selected business's profile for more information. The interface allows users to place a green pin on the map by touch, marking their chosen location in relation to nearby grow shops or dispensaries. Additionally, the 'directions' feature offers optimized routes to these locations.

Once a user identifies a preferred grow shop or dispensary, they can contact the establishment directly via phone or email. For grow shops, there is also an option to order products online for in-store pickup, providing added convenience for users seeking seamless integration of online browsing and physical collection.
